Dave and I went away for a day/night and left Zara in good hands. We also stop her pills. She been sleeping lots during the day in our room and going under the bed and getting stuck. She walking around a lot better now and taking herself to the toilet. She decided it was time she went for a drive to drop the kids off at school. She can get into the car by herself but needs help getting out. She is off to the vets later on today to get her stitches out.
Been a long 12 days so far.
the first two weeks can seem like an eternity – glad to here you’re are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. i think after all the effects of the pills wears off, zara will be her old self again. thanks for the update!!

FYI: A lot of members have found the Ruff Wear harness beneficial for helping their pups in and out of vehicles. Pet Loader also makes some handy folding car steps.
